Chronological Bible Teaching
January 26th, 2007
One of the methods of evangelism that we use with children and people with no biblical background is chronological Bible teaching in weekly Bible Clubs. This is crucial for people who have no knowledge of what the Bible teaches because people need to know why they need a Savior. We start at the beginning with who God is and how all things are created by Him. We teach about how humankind fell into sin and how God promised a Savior. We teach through the Old Testament all the way to Christ. This way the students understand why they need a Savior. Some people may worry that this process takes to long to get to the Gospel. This is no problem, however, because we give the Gospel at different points throughout the year so that the attendees have plenty of opportunities to repent and trust in Jesus.
